To provide our clients with the best quality product that we can. "Built by Norcab" is more then just a slogan, it's a statement. We pride our-self in using construction methodology commonly found in the architectural millwork field. We bring this type of construction and quality to the residential marketplace to provide consumers the best value in the marketplace.
Our Methodology
Norcab's quality control process begins early in our design phase and doesn't end until the project has been installed and completed. We assess quality at every phase of production. In-house construction provides the ultimate ability to maintain control over our quality. We also take a unique stance on installation, using our own cabinet makers instead of third party sub contractors.
Every quality product, starts with quality material. We only use high end materials from trusted vendors. We do not settle for second best. We order grade A face veneers, color sorted premium solids, ultra-dense 120 gram melamine, custom manufactured MDF and high end blum soft motion hardware as a standard. There is never a shortage of selection as we have access to nearly every type of wood, melamine and plastic laminate available on the market.
Over & Above
Going over and above is what we do best! We ensure every department at Norcab far exceeds the industry standard. Lets start with our basic cabinet box. This is the single most overlooked component from most consumers. The cabinet box provides storage, but more importantly provides the overall structure and strength for the entire project.
Unlike many cabinet companies, we do not use 1/8" hardboard backing with melamine rails. We use 5/8" or 3/4" solid tops and backs on every cabinet we build to provide maximum rigidity and strength. We construct every cabinet using a "blind dado" system (see photo's on left of page), high tensile strength glue and nickle coated screws to ensure a strong bond for years to come. Our 5 piece box is by far one of the strongest on the market today!
